Born October 15, 1951 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Academy of Arts in Arnhem. After having worked for years as an all-round advertising artist and designer with various studios throughout the country, he established himself in 1982 as independent illustrator and painter in Wamel.

As illustrator, he has worked for many different clients. The most diverse advertising art items for use both in Holland and abroad, such as boxes for sweets, circusposters, jeans-hangers, promotional booklets about nature, postcards and annual reports of multinationals were provided with illustrations made by him. Children over the whole world, from America to Japan play with educational materials and puzzles, which were illustrated by him. Also for example, books by a Dutch mountaineer and adventurer Ronald Naar are clarified by his illustrations.

In addition to the illustrative work, many paintings such as portraits were commissioned. It is impossible to mention everything.
